But how to ensure the real application of these values ​​to people’s daily behavior?

According to the goals set for 2022, Growens has drawn up a policy, called Code of Business Conduct, which contains behavioral guidelines for all employees, managers and directors of the Group’s Business Units, based on integrity, transparency and other widespread basic principles.

A transparent and ethical culture 

Values provide the basis for every choice and behavior of both the Group itself and its employees. Growens operates in a context of total transparency, both internally and externally, by adapting conduct, processes and communications to the highest standards – in many cases on a voluntary basis.

In order to guarantee such transparency, since 2020 Growens has published a Sustainability Report on an annual basis.

With this document, Growens shares a voluntary report that involves all business aspects and proposes plans for the following years too.

What does the Code of Business Conduct provide for?

The Code of Business Conduct provides guidelines about the performance of work for all the Group employees.

The Code of Business Conduct provides guidelines for the performance of work by all staff who, in various capacities, work in the interest of the Group, recognizing and promoting certain behavioral principles, in addition to fundamental ethical values. They are divided according to the type of interest they intend to protect and more precisely:

  • Safeguard of the individual and the community, therefore the maintenance of a corporate culture that protects safety and that safeguards human dignity, fighting any discrimination
  • Economic relations, that is an adequate administrative system which ensures transparency and compliance with applicable laws
  • Company assets, or rather the safeguarding of the company assets in the economic interest of the Group
  • Public Authorities, that means the maintenance of transparent and collaborative relationships between the Group and the Authorities.

Focus: general and fundamental ethical values 

In order to achieve its corporate objectives, Growens has included within the Code of Conduct not only behavioral guidelines, but also some fundamental principles that every employee in the company must respect.

Purpose of the Code of Business Conduct
